Great news! Having tried many forms and locations for an office, it is working out better with a new home office organized
into a spare room at the Steve Lacy home. The room was vacated by my daughter who graduated from College in December, 2003. This offers
ample opportunity to give up the downtown office and be closer to my wife at home (and to the kitchen!). Plus,
sports, music and news are much more enjoyable on the big screen and surround sound system. And, I have complete
access to the full array of satellite music, no jazz man!
So in any event, my Christmas for 2003 has been acquisition of totally new office furniture and a bed room make-over
to easily and comfortably work at home. My wife painted the room for me in a color I actually got to pick out! It's great
and would recommend being home to anyone considering space for an office. The only design problem was having too
many computers located in centrally located but limited space. That is why we committed to more of a vertical orientation.
